One requirement before graduating in college is doing an internship. Internship gives you the opportunity to gain hands on experience and develop valuable skills before graduation. In February 2025, we began our internship with enspace, stepping into a new environment full of opportunities, challenges, and growth. Our Welcome dinner experience at enspace!
One of enspace’s welcome traditions for their employees is having a welcome dinner promoting a healthy and open working environment for their new employees. And fortunately, we interns had the chance to experience this joyous celebration here at enspace Cebu. The dinner was a pleasant encounter to enjoy a meal, get-to-know others and acquaint with previous interns who were open and shared their experiences to us.
As new additions to the office, albeit temporary, this dinner felt nice to be included in such a tradition. We had the opportunity to learn about the experiences of previous interns at Enspace and build rapport with the other personnel. It was inspiring to hear how others had grown and developed during their time here. Working in Enspace gives you the chance to meet new people and expand your network — one of many advantages of being a part of this dynamic company. The dinner not only helped us get to know each other better but also gave us a deeper appreciation for the collaborative culture that Enspace fosters. It was a reminder of how valuable these connections can be for both personal and professional growth.
Since enspace is a co-working business that provides flexible spaces for people to work, there are numerous opportunities waiting ahead, especially for interns like us. enspace not only focuses on providing workspaces but also creates an environment for events, fostering communities and collaborations. Here are some of the key opportunities we’ve experienced during our internship at enspace Cebu
FEBRUARY HIGHLIGHTS
We officially began our internship on February 17, 2025. It was the start of an exciting learning experience where we were introduced to the company’s workflow. Our focus was on understanding their operations, particularly in Client and Sales Management.
To gain a strong grasp of the company’s workflow, we were assigned to different areas of operation and learned from various people within the company. During our first two weeks, we were placed in two branches in Cebu—CBP and Ayala. This gave us hands-on experience in interacting with clients, managing business information, and understanding the overall sales process.
One of the key things we learned was how to communicate with clients effectively. Since sales is responsible for client acquisition, we observed and participated in the process of getting new clients and understanding the company’s services. This exposure helped us gain a deeper knowledge of the business and how it operates.
This internship has been a great opportunity for learning and growth. Each day brings new experiences, and we are excited to continue gaining valuable skills throughout this journey. The month of February was not just about new opportunities—it also introduced us to new cultures and new people, making every moment a learning experience.
MARCH HIGHLIGHTS
The month of March brought new and exciting experiences for us interns. While contributing to various departments within the company, we were also assigned weekly IT tasks by our immediate supervisor, Sir David, the company’s IT Engineer. He ensured our active participation in developing the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) for the company. Our weekly meetings provided a platform to discuss our tasks, address our questions, and receive guidance without undue pressure.
Working with Sir David, we felt included and valued. He assigned us diverse tasks and ensured we were integral to the process. This month was another successful chapter in our internship journey, thanks to the supportive mentorship and healthy environment that fostered our growth. We are grateful for these opportunities and the guidance that encourages us to excel.
